We all have a thousand if not more screenshots of recipe we want to try. I once tried making hummus and its not for me. For now at least. I’ll give it a try again. So I bumped into a splitpea dip on Instagram and when I made it man-oh-man I’m going to make it again and again.

For the green split pea dip: cooked the split peas with spices and salt for flavor, after it gets soft and cooked I added lemon zest , lemon juice and more herbs (add to flavor& preference). After it cooled down enough I added yogurt and blended.
For the crumbed chicken: I made a marinate of spices with little oil. Put spices together with chicken in a zipbag and put in the fridge to marinate for at least an hour. Then for the crumbs I blended cornflakes and added some herbs. Dipped the chicken drumsticks and put in the oven instead of deep frying. Made a sauce to coat and shine the chicken after.
Cubed some red bell pepper just for a pop of color.
